Built in 1887, The Audubon Inn, formerly The Beaumont Hotel, is the best example of a
Queen Anne style brick building decorated with elaborate pressed metal cornices and bays.

Proprietor's Mike & Stacy
Owners Mike & Stacy Shewey purchased the Inn in June 2008. They have three children: Alexander - 11, Morgan-9, Jackson - 7 years. They reside in Illinois.

Original Woodwork
The woodwork in the lobby is the origianl from 1887.
Beautiful Details
At the corner of the building is a polygonal domed turret that rises from a corner bay.

Great Menu
Plenty of seating at the bar or at a table in a comfy chair. The menu consists of Steak Burger, Chicken Sandwhiches, Salads and more. The price range of menu items are $5-9.00.

Beautiful Ceiling
The etched glass window above the bar depicts the geese migrating over the marsh.
The atrium celing is lit up at night. When you go upstairs on the second or third floorwhere the guestrooms are, you can look down onto the window.

Four Executive Suites
We have four suites. Two suites have an open floor plan from the sitting area to the bedroom,the other two have a door that seperates the two rooms.

Staircase
16 guestrooms are located on the second and third floor. Guests can take the scenic route of the original staircase
or take the modern mode of the elevator.
Four Futon Sleeper Rooms
Each suite is spacious. Two of the suites have a futon sofa sleeper to accomodate up to four people.
